Plastiz was born in Turin in 2021, driven by a shared passion for design and the determination to be part of the solution to the overwhelming problem of plastic waste.
In each square meter of our panels we give new life to about 15 kg of plastic — the equivalent of the waste produced by one person in two and a half months.
As much plastic as possible
We developed an innovative process that reinterprets traditional methods of working with plastic, transforming as much waste as possible into a compact, durable, and resilient material.
50.000 kg
Since Plastiz was founded, we’ve transformed over 50 tons of plastic waste, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 50% compared to virgin plastic production.
Carbon zero
Our panels are produced using only 100% certified green energy from renewable sources. We’ve also launched an LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) study to measure and improve the environmental impact of our products.
Uniqueness
Every panel tells a one-of-a-kind story. We’ve tested dozens of different polymers and selected the most intriguing waste materials to create unique surfaces.
Humanity
Each panel is created by hand. From material selection to preparation, cooking, cutting, and finishing, we bring our artisanal expertise to every stage of the process.

Expanding startup
Plastiz is an innovative startup with a social mission. We organize and participate in workshops and events that involve citizens, associations and public institutions to promote a change in the perception of plastic and encourage more responsible social behaviors.
We received support from the European Union’s Single Market Programme (SMP COSME) under two projects: Up2Circ and See Bridge (Grant Agreement 101127499 — SMP-COSME-2022-SEE)
