Research Comes First

Experimentation is a fundamental part of our work. It helps us better understand materials and offer innovative solutions.

Getting to know the material

There are over 30 types of thermoplastics. At the start of our journey experimenting with plastics, we tested more than 15 to identify those that are easiest to work with and deliver the best results.

Polystyrene

All our panels are made from Polystyrene (PS) — a hard and durable plastic. It’s the polymer used for single-use plates and cutlery, coat hangers, televisions, monitors, keyboards, refrigerators, and air conditioners.

Other materials

We’re always eager to experiment and we already used other recycled polymers and mixed materials for custom projects. Some examples: ABS, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Bioplastic, Methacrylate, Polycoupled from food packaging.

In every batch of material, there’s an element of unpredictability that gives each panel its unique character, a reflection of the raw material’s story.

Circular Economy for Companies

In our lab, we use a small machine to test materials. All it takes is 1 to 5 kg of samples to understand a material’s potential for transformation. Easy, right?

Book a call with us and tell us about your material. If our initial assessment is positive, we will send you a Research & Development proposal. We’ll produce a few small samples, then scale the test to our production facility.
