Introductory course on plastic materials recycling and the production of small objects and panels. The activity will take place at Plastiz’s office, in the Ex-Incet complex.
Children will learn about plastic and its recycling process in a fun and engaging activity. At the beginning of the workshop a basic understanding of materials is developed, later the children will separate some objects according to the polymers they are made of, grind the plastic with a special bike, and prepare a unique “pizza” with white bottle cups as the dough and colorful ingredients on top. The pizza will be baked in the oven to demonstrate thermofusion effects. Every child will receive a pin as a keepsake of the experience, and as a seal of their environmental knowledge.
